Ballet Kelowna opens its 2026/27 season with a mixed program featuring two audience favourites and two world premieres. The program includes Acts of Remembrance by Artistic Director Simone Orlando, honoring Canadians who served in wartime, and Trey McIntyre's The Reassuring Effects (of Form and Poetry), set to Dvořák's Serenade for Strings. It also features world premiere solo choreographic debuts from Rehearsal Director Joanna Lige with Unrooted, inspired by nature's resilience, and Company Dancer Donaldo Nava with Reverencia al Umbral, a tribute to retiring dancer Kurt Werner performed by Werner and Emily Webb.
