At some point in their lives, most people have heard of the musical: CATS. Whether it’s because of its unique costumes or iconic songs, CATS will always be a Broadway classic. This week, Broadway Across Canada and Troika Entertainment brought the musical to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
COME FROM AWAY is a musical that reflects what it truly means to be Canadian. It has heart, humor, and a unique story telling the events a week after 9/11 when 38 planes were rerouted to a small town in Newfoundland called Gander following the attacks.
Vancouver has finally been blessed with the arrival of HAMILTON: An American Musical at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre! Playing from May 24th to June 19, this multiple award winning musical will grace audiences night after night all thanks to Broadway Across Canada. Read our critic's review.
Delicious pies, love stories, and music written by Sara Bareilles are just a few things of many that make the musical: WAITRESS, a must-see this season. Playing at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre until November 17th, Broadway Across Canada's WAITRESS officially premiered in Vancouver, B.C. with a brand new National Tour cast on Tuesday. Led by the amazing Bailey McCall as the show's lead: Jenna Hunterson, this touring production did not fail to impress me with its emotion, music, and energy.
