2026年のBAFTAフィルムアワードのロングリストが発表され、次のノミネートステージに進出する映画が明らかになりました。合計221本の映画が候補として提出されました。
『ウィキッド』は8部門にリストされ、シンシア・エリヴォとアリアナ・グランデがその役で候補に挙がっており、衣装デザイン、メイク＆ヘア、オリジナルスコア、プロダクションデザイン、視覚効果、音響が受賞の可能性があります。クロエ・ジャオ監督の映画『ハムネット』は、16世紀のウィリアム（ポール・メスカル）とアグネス（ジェシー・バックリー）シェイクスピアについて描いており、16部門で言及されており、最優秀映画、最優秀監督、脚色脚本、そしてジェシー・バックリー、ポール・メスカル、およびエミリー・ワトソンの演技部門で候補に挙がっています。

第2ラウンドの投票は、ノミネーションを決定するために、1月9日金曜日の16:00 GMTにBAFTAの投票メンバーに開かれ、2026年1月20日火曜日の18:00 GMTに締め切られます。2026年EE BAFTAフィルムアワードのノミネーションは1月27日火曜日に発表され、授賞式は2月22日の日曜日に行われます。
