Con musica di Alan Menken e testi di David Zippel, e libretto di Robert Horn e Kwame Kwei-Armah, la produzione di Casey Nicholaw di Hercules, co-coreografata con Tanisha Scott, è ispirata al film d'animazione del 1997 con lo stesso nome della Walt Disney Studios.
