A one-night-only concert celebrating composer Steve Reich's 90th birthday, featuring the North American premiere of his new work In All Your Ways, co-commissioned by Soundstreams and leading music organisations worldwide, alongside Music for 18 Musicians, one of Reich's most iconic works. The program also includes a hybrid performance of Clapping Music featuring Reich himself performing on film alongside live percussionist Russell Hartenberger. Performers include conductor Gary Kulesha, percussionists Russell Hartenberger and Bob Becker, pianists Gregory Oh, Stephanie Chua, Midori Koga, and Wesley Shen, sopranos Xin Wang and Lindsay McIntyre, mezzo-soprano Andrea Ludwig, and an ensemble of flutes, strings, and additional percussion. The concert is presented in collaboration with the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto.
