2025 AWARDS SEASON

"The Hairy Ape"- Eugene O'Neill's expressionist play presented in a stark, brutal and imaginative setting; "Byhalia, Mississippi"- a new work of southern love and forgiveness, and "Rent"- the musical update of "La Boheme" performed in a small storefront theatre, took home the most honors on Monday, June 6, at Park West during the 43rd Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards ceremony recognizing excellence in non-union Chicago theatre.

Inside Broadway's Exec. Director Michael Presser has announced that on Monday, June 20 at The JW Marriott Essex House (160 Central Park South), the organization will honor TV & Broadway star Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-O on CBS, currently starring on Broadway as the King of Siam in The King & I thru 6/26) and Broadway actress Andrea Burns (currently appearing in On Your Feet) at their annual Beacon Awards, presented to individuals in the theatre & Times Square community who have been advocates for increasing audiences for live theatre and understanding the importance of Arts and Education in the lives of New York City's young people.

The Tony Awards has announced the star-studded team that will bring Broadway fans across the world exclusive content live from the red carpet and behind-the-scenes at this year's Tony Awards. The American Theatre Wing's 70th Annual Tony Awards - hosted by Tony Award winner James Corden - will air on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 12, 2016 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

The Tony Awards have announced additional presenters for the 2016 Tony Awards, which will broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, on CBS, on Sunday, June 12th 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay). The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
