The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) hosts the 41ST Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony tonight, June 22. CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless lead the pack with the most nominations. Theatre names in the mix include CABARET's Alan Cumming, Tony-winning composer and lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Broadway actress Ashley Tisdale.

On Friday, June 20th, the brightest stars of televisions below the line talent in Daytime gathered at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles to honor their own at the 41st Daytime Creative Arts EMMY Awards. Although many of the individuals associated with nominated projects may not have been household names, there were many recognizable personalities such as Ron Howard, George Lucas, Leeza Gibbons, Jack Hanna and even Cookie Monster (David Rudman). On hand to disperse awards to over 50 categories were such noted performers as Melody Thomas Scott, George Chakiris, Ashley Tisdale, Lauralee Bell and June Lockhart, who has started her 81st year as a paid actress that included her role of Maria Ramirez on General Hospital for many years. Last night, June 20, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards in a sold-out, grand gala for over 1,200 attendees at the Westin Bonaventure, in downtown Los Angeles. The HUB Network, the only network dedicated to providing kids and families entertainment they can watch together, received six Daytime Emmy Awards, including 'Outstanding Children's Series' for 'R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series' for the second year in a row, during the 41st Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards last night in Los Angeles. This brings the HUB Network's total Daytime Emmy Award wins to 18 after just 3-1/2 years on air.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network's popular Sunday morning series “Super Soul Sunday,” from Harpo Studios, won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Series at Friday night's (June 20) 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony. This is the second win and third nomination for the series in the three years that it has been on the air.

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) presents the 4th annual Critics' Choice Television Awards, which are being broadcast live on The CW from the Beverly Hilton Hotel tonight, June 19, 2014 (8:00pm ET/8:00pm PT) and hosted by actor/comedian Cedric the Entertainer. Cedric is currently the star, co-creator and executive producer of the hit comedy series The Soul Man on TV Land as well as one of the stars of The Original Kings of Comedy. The Tony Awards Administration Committee announced today the Nominating Committee for the 2014-2015 Broadway season. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

The producers of All The Way, by Robert Schenkkan, have announced that the show has won every major award for Best New Play this season - the Drama League Award, the Drama Desk Award, the Outer Critics Circle Award, the Drama Critics Circle Award and the Tony Award. For his critically acclaimed portrayal of President Lyndon B. Johnson, Bryan Cranston was awarded the Tony Award for Best Actor in addition to already winning the Drama Desk Award, the Outer Critics Circle Award, and having been recognized with a Theatre World Award.

CBS' live broadcast of the 68th annual TONY AWARDS attracted 7 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating on Sunday night, June 8th.
