Full Cast Set for THE WIZARD OF OZ at 5-Star Theatricals

5-Star Theatricals has revealed the full cast for the second show of their 2026 season, one of the most beloved musicals of all time, The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, with music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Based upon the classic motion picture owned by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed in all media by Warner Bros., the production features background music by Herbert Stothart, orchestration by Larry Wilcox, musical direction by Anthony Lucca, choreography by Clarice ORdaz, and direction by Richard Israel. The Wizard of Oz will open on Friday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m. (press opening) and run through Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.

The Cast of The Wizard of Oz features: Hannah Sedlacek as “Dorothy Gale,” Eric Stanton Betts as “Huck/Scarecrow,”  Lucas Alifano as “Hickory/Tin Man,” Tom Anawalt as “Zeke/Cowardly Lion,” Becky Lythgoe as “Almira Gulch/Wicked Witch of the West,” Noah Kaplan as “Professor Marvel/The Wizard,” Cassandra Marie Murphy as “Aunt Em/Glinda,” and Mike Baker as “Uncle Henry/Emerald City Guard.”  The Ensemble features (in alphabetical order): Samantha Bell, Aaron Michael-Rees Camitses, Bar Daniel, Sam Davidson, Josh Igarashi. Amanda King, Lauren Lorati, Nicholas Ley, Ali Marquez-Qadiri, Jacob Ray, Barbara Ann Reed, Spencer Reese, Xavier F. Reynoso, Angelica Roque, Bayley Tanenbaum, and Calista Zajac.  The Youth Ensemble features (in alphabetical order): CC Adeva, Ryan Bohmholdt, Kaylie Cho, Gibson Day, Malia Johnson, Amaeline Lynch, and Anna Marie Holland Melendrez. 

The Design Team for The Wizard of Oz is as follows: Lighting Design by Brandon Baruch; Sound Design by Jonathan A. Burke; Costume Coordination by Gale Garon & Chris Steele; Hair/Wig Design by Luis Martinez; Prop Design by Alex Choate. Casting is by Michael Donovan Casting; Michael Donovan, CSA & Richie Ferris, CSA. The Production Stage Manager is Olivia Riddle.                                                                   
The Wizard of Oz will open on Friday, July 10 at 7:30pm and run through Sunday, July 19, 2026 at the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center.
