Some relationships are so special they have the power to change lives forever. Toms, the son of migrant workers, spends long, hot days in the fields harvesting crops. But when he meets a kind librarian, she helps him find an escape from the heat in the form of thousands of books. Soon his imagination takes off and Toms discovers a surprising world filled with dinosaurs, tigers, and limitless possibilities. Performed in both English and Spanish, this heartwarming story illustrates the power of imagination, self-respect, and the immeasurable impact one person can have.Tomas and the Library Lady, by Pat Mora and adapted for the stage by Jos Cruz Gonzlez, will play Saturdays and select Sundays from January 11, 2020 - February 22, 2020 in FST's Bowne's Lab Theatre.
