The Florida premiere of Stephen King and John Mellencamp's Southern gothic musical presents a haunting narrative set in a secluded cabin. The story unfolds through the eyes of a young couple, portrayed by Kayla Witoshynsky and Cameron Kubly, who encounter a caretaker (Spencer Meyers) and learn of a violent rivalry between two brothers (William Alejandro Barba and Dylan Hannesson) vying for the affection of the same woman (Noa Friedman). With direction by David Jenkins and music direction by Jeremy Douglass, this production brings together a blues-inflected score and a chilling tale that resonates with themes of love and consequence. Jonathan Harrison introduces the eerie atmosphere as The Troubadour, guiding the audience through this suspenseful journey.
