The Tampa Repertory Theatre, through TRT2, will present TARTUFFE, Molière's seventeenth-century satire on hypocrisy from Match 1-16.

As the supposedly pious but deceptive Tartuffe (played by Rick Stuzel) plays on the sympathies of the stately Orgon (played by Greg Milton), his nefarious intentions come up against the increasingly desperate interventions of Orgon's wife, Elmire (Danielle Calderone), as she tries to save the day, and Orgon's fortune. Other members of the cast include Lando Green, David Barrow, April Bender, Jessy Quinnones, Colleen Cherry, Scott Dittman, and Betty-Jane Parks.

Matt Frankel and Matt Ray are co-directing Tartuffe, and the production team includes costume designer Laura Maier and composer/sound designer Scott Moore. Local artist Lauren Wyper has created the program and poster art for the production.

For this production, Frankel and Ray have transformed the intimate Silver Meteor Gallery in Ybor City from its usual seating arrangement into an Arena Stage, with seating on all four sides of the action.
