ALL THE SEX I'VE EVER HAD Extra Performance Added

By:
Due to popular demand, an extra performance of All The Sex I've Ever Had has been added on Friday 22 January at 2pm. Tickets to the performance are now on sale.

All the Sex I've Ever Had is a unique performance from a generation of local people over the age of 65 and features a wide cross-section of men and women who will open up about their romantic and sexual lives. Sydney Festival will be working with Mammalian Diving Reflex, the creators of the show, to find six Sydneysiders to work with the company on creating and then appearing in a brand new version of a show that first premiered in 2012.

The group will divulge personal stories on first crushes, affairs, turbulent relationships, and all manner of experiences in a revelatory show that offers the audience an insight into the adventures (and misadventures) of a generation. Lovingly crafted by the team behind Haircuts by Children (Sydney Festival 2008), All The Sex I've Ever Had asks local Sydneysiders to share their experiences in a performance that breaks down the barriers of discussing sex with seniors.

Canadian performance company Mammalian Diving Reflex is committed to "investigating the social sphere...always on the lookout for contradictions to whip into aesthetically scintillating experiences" and true to form, All the Sex I've Ever Had is an entertaining, often hilarious look into the confessions of an older and unquestionably wiser community of elders.

The show has had audiences in awe all over the world, having performed in Toronto, Prague, Singapore and Glasgow. Artistic Director Darren O'Donnell, hopes that this unique show will open up discussions about gender, celebrate openness and shed some light on a history of taboo.

This tender encounter with real people will have audiences laughing and crying in an intimate and rare lesson from a generation of people too often rendered invisible.
