THE RIVERSIDE THEATRE PROJECT PRESENTS A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM Season Two Continues at the Historic Showboat Theatre R-S Theatrics (St. Louis, MO) partners with the Showboat Community Theatre and Half Act Theatre Company (Hermann, MO) to start the Riverside Theatre Project, a cross-community collaboration designed to engage rural and urban Missouri artists. Continuing their second season, they will be producing Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the historic Showboat Theatre in Hermann, Missouri, September 12-21, 2025. Christina Rios, Artistic Director (Director of A Midsummer Night’s Dream): “There is little in the world that is more magical and hilarious than A Midsummer Night’s Dream: fairies, lovers, royalty, and a very enthusiastic group of thespians all find what they need because of the magic in the forest on a midsummer’s night. Come escape to a glittery place in the woods where anything seems humanly possible, where humans are very easily confused for other humans, and where love and laughter await us all.” Per Riverside’s mission, the cast and crew of A Midsummer Night’s Dream are a mix of St. Louis and Hermann artists who are currently rehearsing in both cities. On September 8, the groups will come together for tech week as the St. Louis artists move into housing donated by the community of Hermann. We are an EOE and dedicated to being an anti-discrimination production company.
