Darkroom Contemporary Dance Theatre presents a new full-length work, featuring choreography, direction, and set design by Louise Coetzer. From September 10 to 28, this hybrid performance explores the relationship between human and machine, incorporating dance, live art, sound installation, and digital elements in a transforming site-specific venue in Cape Town. Notable performers include Bronwyn Craddock, Darion Adams, Vuyelwa Phota, and Gabrielle Fairhead, accompanied by an original score from Brydon Bolton and Njabulo Phungula, with vocals by Inge Beckmann. The production confronts contemporary notions of identity through interaction with artificial intelligence and digital landscapes.
