Directed by Alan Committie, the comedian who is always high on laughs, THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG returns to Theatre on the Bay this November with a stellar cast of eight, featuring Robert Fridjhon, Nicole Franco, Sive Gubangxa, Craig Jackson, Daniel Janks, Roberto Pumbo, Russel Savadier and Louis Viljoen. When the accident prone and inept Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society receives an unexpected financial legacy, the amateur group decides to put the windfall to good use. But when they attempt to put on a complicated 1920s murder mystery play, all hell breaks loose. Everything that can possibly go wrong does to hilarious effect, and audiences find the resulting chaos so funny that the entire theatre ends up in complete, total and happy disarray night after night. Will the players manage to get everything sorted out before the final curtain rises? Come along and find out for yourself.
