Salomé at Baxter Theatre

Dada Masilo's Salomé will make its Cape Town debut as part of Joburg Ballet's Scarcity program at Baxter Theatre from October 24 to 26, 2024. This piece explores themes of desire and power, drawing on Oscar Wilde's play, while showcasing Masilo's innovative blend of African dance and narrative style. Alongside Salomé, the program features works by choreographers Craig Pedro, Hannah Ma, and Jorge Pérez Martínez, offering a mix of world premieres and a South African premiere.
