Following their successful South African tour in 2011, Stars of the Ballet Moscow return for a nationwide tour in June 2013. Yuri Vetrov, former director of the Bolshoi Ballet, has prepared a magnificent new programme which celebrates the music of the great Russian composers Sergei Rachmaninov and Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and includes the one-act ballet Paganini (choreographed by Leonid Lavrovsky), Adagio from Rachmaninov's Symphony no. 2 and All by Myself (choreographed by Yuri Vetrov). The second half of the programme includes masterpieces of the classical ballet repertoire such as Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet and extracts from Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker.
