Four brand-new South African plays make their stage debut at The Masque's annual One-Act Play Festival, showcasing works by local playwrights Kudzai Mhangwa, Lindy Wilson, Savannah Steyn, and Clive Myburgh. Each play has followed a development journey from script submission through staged readings and feedback sessions to a fully realised theatrical production. Every performance will be followed by a hosted discussion with the playwrights, directors, and cast. The festival runs across four sessions from 20 to 22 August.
