Killer Queen is an annual dance production from the Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA) celebrating the iconic music of Queen through powerful choreography, striking visuals, and high-energy performance. The production is conceived and directed by Naledi Award-winning LAMTA founders Anton Luitingh and Duane Alexander, with choreography by an ensemble including Michelle Reid, Jared Schaedler, Robin van Wyk, Chesney Stanfield, Emile Petersen, Brandon Herbst, Ashley Searle, Brigitte Reeve-Taylor, Anna Olivier, Naoline Quinzin, and Zoe Aldridge. Featuring LAMTA students from first to third year, the two-act show takes audiences through Queen's greatest hits and hidden gems, including We Will Rock You, Somebody To Love, The Show Must Go On, and We Are the Champions, reimagined through expressive movement. Luitingh also musically directs several vocal numbers, a popular addition to LAMTA's annual dance productions.
