Flight, Felines and Holy Frights by Judith Herbig Genre: One-Woman Comedy / Travel Storytelling Flights, Felines & Holy Frights is a hilarious and sharply observant one-woman show chronicling a solo European journey gone gloriously wrong. Fasten your seatbelts for a hilarious journey with Judith Herbig as she takes you through her unforgettable adventures in ‘Flights, Felines and Holy Frights’. From airports to ancient cathedrals, eccentric encounters to cat-related calamities, Judith shares her true-life travel tales with warmth, wit and just the right touch of chaos. Directed by Beryl Eichenberger, this one-woman show promises laughter, surprises, and a few heartfelt moments along the way. At 63, Judith sets out on her long-awaited dream trip across Amsterdam, Bruges, Paris, and Köln—armed with overstuffed luggage, fragile optimism, and questionable Google Maps skills. But instead of postcard moments, she finds holy statues in toilets, peeing cats, rooms the size of cupboards, aggressive street scammers, annoyed Uber drivers, and suspicious bananas. As she battles language barriers, physical limits, and absurd surprises, her inner monologue collides with reality in a riot of mismatched expectations. Blending physical comedy, character impressions, song clips, photos and storytelling, the show offers a laugh-out-loud meditation on travel, aging, independence, and the resilience it takes to keep dragging your suitcase forward—even when you’re lost, exhausted, and a swan is trying to steal your ice cream.
