AN EVENING OF MUSIC AND DANCE WITH A DISTINCTLY SCOTTISH FLAVOUR at Baxter Theatre Centre

Students from the famous Gordonstoun School present a music and dance extravaganza with an unsurprisingly Scottish influence. Gordonstoun's Chamber Choir (BBC Schools Choir of the Year finalists 2010) and Chamber Orchestra will present an eclectic assortment of music from Europe and the British Isles before traditional pipes and contemporary dancers join the mix to hone in on a diverse blend of music from the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

Gordonstoun is where several members of the British monarchy went to school. It is a school bound by tradition in not only the arts but also seamanship, expeditions, academia and sport. The talent that these young performers possess is immense and their performances are mature, entertaining and emotive.
