You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown Photos - Off-Broadway

Rubicon Theatre, Ventura County’s leading not-for-profit professional theatre company, committed to entertaining, engaging and enriching the community through live performance, will present the grand finale of its 2023 Summer Youth Theatre Program, the enchanting musical PIPPIN, with performances starting this Saturday for two weekends only!

Out of the Box Theatrics, Founder and Producing Artistic Director Elizabeth Flemming, Associate Artistic Director Ethan Paulini present a brand new revival of Into the Woods. The classic musical features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. Ethan Paulini will direct. Marisa Kirby choreographs with music direction by Anessa Marie.

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, continues its 2017/18 season with Guess Who's Coming to Dinner by Todd Kreidler (based on the screenplay by William Rose), directed by Marti Lyons with Associate Director Wardell Julius Clark. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner runs March 15 - April 15, 2018 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Ave. The press opening is Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 8:00pm.

SHEA DELVES PRODUCTIONS presented a staged reading of the powerful Australian play, FLOOD  by Chris Isaacs, on February 9th, in New York City.

Quest Theatre Ensemble's current production of I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, by Tony-winning wordsmith Joe DiPietro and composer and entertainer Jimmy Roberts is a charming and tender look inside our deepest, darkest, most secret thoughts - whether out on a date, making headway toward the altar, or juggling the challenges of marriage. I am incredibly proud of all my kids and Ryan is pursuing his dream as a performer. He has been performing for quite awhile now as a professional and I have had the idea that this would be so since about his Junior year in High School. I have always taken the time to include my kids (when they have shown an interest) into the shows I was doing. Ryan and his older sister, Kaitlynn, were able to be more inundated with it at a young age as I was more active as a professional performer and they got to be backstage and at rehearsal, and often in shows with me. Whenever I was in a show that needed kids, I got them an audition and, since they were talented, often got cast, so we were able to share the stage. Sound of Music, South Pacific, Music Man, Secret Garden, A Christmas Carol, all shows that my kids been able to share with me.

The Theatre Group at SBCC will present RABBIT HOLE, David Lindsay-Abaire's touching play, as the final play in the 16/17 season.  Directed by Katie Laris, performances will be April 12-29 in the intimate Jurkowitz Theatre.

Playwrights Horizons will soon present THE LIGHT YEARS, the world premiere of a new play written by Drama Desk Award winner Hannah Bos (The Open House, Jacuzzi, Blood Play, Buddy Cop 2) and Obie Award winner Paul Thureen (Jacuzzi, Blood Play, Buddy Cop 2), directed and developed by Obie Award winner Oliver Butler (Jacuzzi, The Open House, Blood Play), made by The Debate Society. The production will be the fourth production of the theater company's 2016/2017 Season.

Chris Isaacson Presents has announced the West Coast debut of Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp: Acoustically Speaking ? Celebrating 20 Years of Friendship for two shows only on Tuesday, October 25 and Wednesday, October 26 at 8:30pm at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood. Acoustically Speaking is a new show featuring two Broadway favorites coming together to celebrate music, memories, and their 20-year friendship.
