With the current theatre world on hiatus, I have created a Spotlight Series on Broadway World which features interviews with some of the many talented artists who make our Los Angeles theatre community so exciting and vibrant thanks to their ongoing contribution to keeping the Arts alive in the City of the Angels. And just like all of us, I wondered how they are dealing with the abrupt end of productions in which they were involved. This Spotlight focuses on Dana Weisman, a musical theatre actor who longs to get back on the stage and entertain audiences as soon as possible!

The Wilbury Theatre Group continues its 2019/20 Main Series season with the Rhode Island premiere of Quiara Alegría Hudes' newest musical, Miss You Like Hell, March 5-29, 2020. Hudes, a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and Lin-Manuel Miranda's collaborator on the book and film of In The Heights, wrote the book and shares credit for the lyrics with folk-rock star Erin McKeown who also wrote the music.

The King and I's Jose Llana dazzled in his return to Lincoln Center's American Songbook Concert Series on February 1st, four years after his sold-out appearance at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse. Sheffield Theatres today announces casting for the regional premiere of Caryl's Churchill's, Love and Information. Caroline Steinbeis directs Debbie Chazen, Marian McLoughlin, Mercy Ojelade, Ciaran Owens, Ian Redford and Sule Rimi. The production opens at Sheffield Theatres Studio on Monday 2 July, with previews from the Friday 29 June, and runs until Saturday 14 July.
