Australian Director Gary Young has reinterpreted MAMMA MIA! for Australian audiences, delivering a fresh new take on the work, 19 years after it debuted on the West End.

The Tom Kitt Band will soon make its Feinstein's/54 Below debut, playing February 9 and 11. The Tony-winning frontman writes:

Guild Hall, the visual and performing arts center on eastern Long Island, recently honored the recipients of the 28th Academy of the Arts Lifetime Achievement Awards: John Alexander for Visual Arts; Walter Isaacson for Literary Arts; Nathan Lane for Performing Arts and Mickey Straus, who received the Special Award for Leadership and Philanthropy. Marshall Brickman was the Master of Ceremonies with special guest presenters: Ken Auletta, Alec Baldwin, Jack O'Brien and Lorne Michaels. ENJOY - a new play by the renowned Japanese playwright Toshiki Okada -- will be given its English-language premiere in a production by the Obie award-winning Off-Broadway theatre company, The Play Company, with previews began March 27 and an official opening night set for April 6, 2010 Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer), located at 59 E. 59 St., between Park and Madison Avenues in Manhattan.
