The world premiere production of the new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen, and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, and directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, will play its final performance on Broadway today, August 24 at the St. James Theatre. As of that date, the musical will have played 156 regular performances and 33 preview performances. Below, BroadwayWorld takes you back through the show's run on the Great White Way!

Fabulously entertaining fans eight times a week, BULLETS OVER BROADWAY: THE MUSICAL, based on the 1994 Woody Allen film of the same name, racked up six Tony Nominations this year. The musical comedy also recently released its Original Broadway Cast Recording, featuring a score of music from the 1920s adapted by Glen Kelly, with orchestrations by Doug Besterman. If you're like me, you haven't seen the show yet, and this enthralling album will leave you longing to see the splashy spectacle, smiling, and singing along with glee.

Preparations are well underway for the 2014 Tony Awards ceremony this Sunday! Cues were set, entrances timed, and performances streamlined during rehearsals today, June 5, at Radio City Music Hall, and BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was there to capture interviews with the stars and creative teams. The actors treated the live audience to a performance of the show-stopping number, "I've Found a New Baby.

The ladies of Bullets of Over Broadway have been hard at work both on and off the stage, having just put together a stunning series of photos that tribute the Tony-nominated costume designs of William Ivey Long.
