According to Doha News, Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS will bow in Qatar in early 2017. Tickets are now on sale for the musical, which will run at the Qatar National Convention Center, February 1-4.

The New York Post's legendary gossip columnist, Cindy Adams, just made her Broadway debut during the curtain call of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS as Grizabella. She might not be Mamie's understudy, but she was there to promote her eighth annual Blessing of the Animals on December 11, 2016 at Christ Church (524 Park Avenue), which includes a procession of animals to the altar for blessing.

In celebration of its landmark 35th anniversary season, leading NYC arts education nonprofit Inside Broadway and the Broadway production of Cats will partner with the NYC Public School system in 2016-2017 to provide exciting and enriching arts education programs to thousands of students in over 30 schools, both in the classroom & on Broadway. 

Broadway veteran Mamie Parris recently assumed the iconic role of 'Grizabella the Glamour Cat' in the first-ever Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS Parris, who most recently starred as 'Patty' in Andrew Lloyd Webber's newest smash hit School of Rock - The Musical, succeeds pop star Leona Lewis in the role.

She will be succeeded in the role of The Glamour Cat by her understudy, Mamie Parris, who begins performances as Grizabella on October 17th.

On July 14, Leona Lewis, took over as Grizabella the Glamour Cat in the Great White Way's revival of the beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats. The British star has played the classic character - and sung 'Memory' eight times a week - since opening night, July 31. Before her Broadway run comes to a close on Oct. 9, the singer shared an exclusive photo diary with People, chronicling one September day of her busy new life as a Broadway star.
