Producer Jeffrey Seller and Broadway In Chicago recently announced that single tickets for HAMILTON would go on sale to the public today, June 21st.

The 6th Annual Elly Awards Luncheon was hosted earlier this afternoon by The Women's Forum of New York benefiting The Education Fund of the Women's Forum. Tony Award winner Leslie Odom Jr. just participated in a Facebook Live chat, in which he first sent his best wishes to fathers everywhere, including Lin-Manuel, his own father as well as his mentors. Then, he announced to his fans that he will depart the hit musical on July 9, 2016 (along with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Phillipa Soo).

The national tour of the Broadway musical HAMILTON will play the Buell Theatre as part of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts' 2017/18 Broadway subscription series, it was announced today by producer Jeffrey Seller and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. 

A new version of HAMILTON will soon bow in New York City.

In response to this weekend's tragic events in Orlando Lin-Manuel Miranda has established an officially-licensed merchandise site, Tee-Rico.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Javier Muñoz - Lin-Manuel Miranda's alternate in the Tony Award-winning musical Hamilton on Broadway and the actor who portrayed AlexanderHamilton when President Barack Obama saw Hamilton last July - will step into the title role starting July 11 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St.), it has been announced byHamilton producer Jeffrey Seller. Mr. Miranda's final performance in the Broadway production is set for July 9.

The original cast will be filmed later this month, although Miranda says he doesn't know what will be done with it.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, HAMILTON leading man Lin-Manuel Miranda will be exiting the show on July 9 to focus on his upcoming projects, including the starring role in Disney's MARY POPPINS opposite Emily Blunt. In a Heatstreet report last month, it was speculated that he will be replaced by his current alternate, Javier Muñoz, who steps in for Miranda on Sunday matinees. It appears that the rumors are true, because now they've been confirmed by Miranda himself. He told Washington Post reviewer Peter Marks:

While the Tony Awards dedicated Sunday night's broadcast to the victim's of the Orlando shooting, others have been sending support and voicing concern and outrage over the horrible incident.
