OFC Creations founder Eric Vaughn Johnson discusses the 2026-2027 Broadway in Brighton Series, a season of six musicals featuring rarely produced titles, a North American premiere of THE OSMONDS, and a New York State premiere of THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK.

Spaceballs: The Plot. The official synopsis has been revealed for Spaceballs: The New One, the highly anticipated sequel to Mel Brooks' 1987 sci-fi comedy.

This season, 46th Street will join these special ranks when the new musical Warriors moves into the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Warriors, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis, moves in across the street from Hamilton in its long-time home at the Richard Rodgers. Hamilton, with book, music, and lyrics by Miranda, already has a history of inspiring block party vibes on 46th Street with Ham4Ham, their in-person lottery turned pop-up concert event. Will there be a crossover lottery event for both shows? Perhaps Warriors will be the Lunt-Fontanne show to finally reopen the theater’s long-dormant retractable rooftop and wave to their neighbors?

Three-time Olivier Award winner Philip Quast and West End performer Rob Madge have joined LES MISÉRABLES: THE ARENA CONCERT SPECTACULAR at Radio City Music Hall. Boublil and Schönberg's LES MISÉRABLES stormed back to the Keller Auditorium last night. I went in wondering how a show about a failed anti-monarchist uprising in 1832 might land differently now, on the heels of the third national 'No Kings' protest, than it did when it was last here in 2018. 

Playwright Jordan Harrison’s 2025 drama “The Antiquities” – being given a fine New England premiere at SpeakEasy Stage Company at the Roberts Studio Theatre in the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts through March 28 – uses history to explore where things went wrong.

The show opens by immediately breaking the fourth wall as the audience is introduced to our actors for the evening. Joseph and Andrew are lead by Ryan, a Shakespearean scholar with questionable credentials, and their goal is performing the entire canon of Shakespeare in one night. The energetic trio start us off with the well-known tragedy of “Romeo and Juliet” filled with raunchy innuendos, puns, improv, and over the top physical comedy. The pace and hilarity speeds up from there leaving the audience and the actors out of breath by intermission. The second act focuses on Hamlet after everyone had a well earned break.
