Last night, July 26, the Town Hall hosted ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN,' an exhilarating extravaganza of song and dance directed and choreographed by Jeffrey Denman (Yank!, WHITE CHRISTMAS). Inspired by the legendary Broadway dance of The Astaires, Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson, Gower Champion, Bob Fosse, and Jerome Robbins, the show consisted of original choreography created exclusively for the concert and was set to some of the greatest show music ever written including 'Slaughter on Tenth Avenue' and 'Cell Block Tango.' The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) and 1113 Productions (Steven Ullman, Executive Producer) opened the World Premiere of Falling for Eve, a new musical with book by Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis), music by Bret Simmons ('The Megan Mullally Show') and lyrics by David Howard (Galaxy Quest) last night, July 15. Performances began July 6th, 2010, at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's. BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the curtain call.

Botosan, Kati Meister, and Erin Oestreich were the event's producers. John Willis, a founder of the Theatre World Awards, was in attendance.

The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year's®10th Anniversary Season presented The Broadway Musicals of 1966, a year that brought us iconic shows such as, Cabaret, Mame, I Do! I Do!, Sweet Charity and The Apple Tree, last night, May 10. Overflowing with famous songs from major hit shows, the evening featured more dance numbers than any other Town Hall Broadway by the Year® concert this season. The evening was directed, choreographed and starred Jeffry Denman (who will be going to Broadway next season with this year's Off-Broadway hit musical, Yank!, which he also choreographed).

The Drama League (Jano Herbosch, President; Gabriel Shanks, Executive Director), announced the nominations for the 2009-10 Drama League Awards today at Sardi's with the help of Broadway stars Kelsey Grammer (La Cage Aux Folles) and Bebe Neuwirth (The Addams Family). The 76th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon will take place on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 12:00pm at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square. The event will be co-hosted by Vanessa Williams (Sondheim on Sondheim) and Michael Urie (The Temperamentals).
