THE LAVENDER EFFECT is presenting a free workshop performance of the new LGBTQ+ play "y2k" by Michael Liberatore, at West Hollywood Park Auditorium today December 15, 2018 at 7pm. Directed by Jill Andre and starring Mel England, Michael Vaccaro and Christopher Stephanic, "y2k" is set at the turn of the millennium in New York City in the critical days of the AIDS Epidemic during the emergence of life-saving drugs that transformed the landscape of Gay men's relationships and lives.

The Syndicate (Megan Paradis Hanley and Ellenor Riley-Condit, Co-Artistic Directors) is proud to announce Syndicated, a festival running August 25th through September 16th at the IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street). Over the three weeks of Syndicated, members of The Syndicate and guest artists will perform two new plays: Bluets, a solo show based on Maggie Nelson's book by the same name, and Tiny Errors at the End of the Millennium, a new, full-length play for six actors. The company will also produce First Read, a new play development and reading series that centers queer, trans, and non-binary voices.

A new day is on the horizon at Theatre Horizon, a professional theatre company located 20 miles outside of Center City Philadelphia in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The company's 2018-19 season features more programming, more variety, and more choices for patrons of the award-winning company, including regional premieres and exciting events that highlight some of the best area talent. This season boasts a brand new model for Theatre Horizon, one in which four smaller, limited engagement events will be presented alongside two more traditional productions with longer runs. Combined, these six offerings will provide audiences programming all season long, and an opportunity to discover something new in Norristown.
