After 28 Seasons Julianne Boyd, co-founder and Artistic Director at Barrington Stage Company, passed a brightly burning torch and retired at the end of the 2022 season. Marc Savitt, sat down with Boyd to gather some information and insight into Boyd, her experiences, and her undeniable impact on the state of the arts in the region.

Beginning on November 9 and running through December 11, Studio Theatre will bring Duncan Macmillan's People, Places & Things to the stage. Opening Friday, September 9 at 40 Great Jones Street, Can Women Have One Man Shows? comprises Yankowitz's Draped Paintings and Pleated Paintings series, bodies of work spanning the 1960s and 70s in which the artist created unstretched canvases hanging in loose folds, eschewing the conventional use of rigid frames and stretcher bars.
