To commemorate Leonard Bernstein's 100th birthday this year, Northrop presents Keigwin + Company Celebrates Bernstein Featuring The University Symphony Orchestra on Sat, Apr 14, at 7:30 pm. KEIGWIN dancers blend Broadway and club styles on stage with a theatrical flair while musicians with the University's Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Mark Russell Smith, perform many Bernstein classics.

Opera Saratoga's Artistic and General Director Lawrence Edelson announced the complete casting and programming for the company's 2018 Summer Festival, which will feature new productions of four operas at The Spa Little Theater in Spa State Park, along with a wide variety of free and ticketed concert events from May 26th through July 15th at venues throughout the region. Lookingglass Theatre Company announces its complete 2018-2019 season lineup. The season begins with the World Premiere of The Steadfast Tin Soldier: A Christmas Pantomime, conceived and directed by Ensemble Member Mary Zimmerman from the story by Hans Christian Andersen. Following The Steadfast Tin Soldier is the World Premiere of Act(s) of God written by Ensemble Member Kareem Bandealy and directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman.

To usher in the new opera season, San Francisco Opera Guild will produce its signature benefit event, Opera Ball 2018.
