The Tony Award-nominated comedy, "Lettice and Lovage," will open Westport Country Playhouse's 87th Season, written by Peter Shaffer, author of "Amadeus," and directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director.  The play runs from May 30 through June 17.

In the 90's, Trilogy went on to expand their horizons by working with C+C Music Factory and released their first Billboard Top 40 pop hit; 'Love Me Forever' on Atlantic Records.

This year's Rough Draft Festival at LaGuardia Performing Arts features six new plays that are in the pre-production stage of development. In July, Ajoka theatre will head to India for an exclusive theatre festival as part of its Theatre for Peace programme. The festival titled "Humsaya Theatre Festival" will include five landmark Ajoka plays including: "Lo Phir Basant Ayee", "Kaun Hai Yeh Gustakh", "Dara", "Anhi Mai Da Sufna" and "Kabira Khara Bazaar Mein". This festival is being held from 23rd to 27th July in Tagore Hall, Chandigarh. First Humsaya festival was held by Ajoka in September 2015 in New Delhi.

The 16th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its lineup of 57 thought-provoking and diverse short films in competition, including 36 world premieres. The selected shorts, 40% of which were directed by women, and include filmmakers from every corner of the globe, were curated from a record 4,385 submissions. They will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs, consisting of five narrative, four documentary, and, for the second year, one animated program. In addition, there is the Sports Shorts program as part of the 11th annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, sponsored by Mohegan Sun. The Shorts program, sponsored by Nutella Originals, is a part of the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 19-30.
