Museum of the Moving Image and Cinema Tropical, the acclaimed New York-based organization dedicated to promoting Latin American cinema in the United States, co-present the 2016 edition of the Cinema Tropical Festival. This year's festival, which is also a celebration of Cinema Tropical's 15th anniversary, showcases six feature films-from Argentina, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, and Puerto Rico-including winners and nominees from the 6th Annual Cinema Tropical Awards, which were announced in January. The festival runs February 26 through 28, 2016 at Museum of the Moving Image.

? Lookingglass Theatre Company announces the election of its newest Artistic Director, Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman. Stillman has served as Artistic Director of New Work since 2004 and replaces current Artistic Director, Ensemble Member Andrew White. White, who has held the post since 2010, will serve as the company's first Connectivity and Engagement Director. Ensemble Member Philip R. Smith remains on the artistic leadership team in his role as Producing Director. In this spirit of ensemble and collaboration, Lookingglass Ensemble members routinely vote on the position of artistic director every three years. Elections are then ratified by the Lookingglass Board of Directors, and this artistic transition is effective immediately.

It was 25 years ago when South Coast Repertory first staged the World Premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley's dark comedy ABUNDANCE. Fast forward to 2015, and Orange County's Tony Award-winning regional theater saw it fitting to once again revisit the property in a brand new production now viewed through 21st Century eyes, that has been beautifully directed by SCR Founding Artistic Director Martin Benson.
