Utah Symphony to Perform Dvorak, 11/21-22

Maestro Thierry Fischer leads the Utah Symphony through a double dose of Antonin Dvorak on Nov. 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. at Abravanel Hall with performances of "My Home" and Symphony No. 7. Guest violinist Fumiaki Miura, a rising star from Japan who made his U.S. debut with Utah Symphony in 2012, will play Camille Saint-Saens' Violin Concerto No. 3. Tickets, priced from $18 to $69 ($10 for students), are available for purchase through www.utahsymphony.org or by calling (801) 355-2787.

The Mikhailovsky Ballet of St. Petersburg to Make U.S. Debut 11/11-23 in NYC

Ardani Artist presents for the first time in the United States The Mikhailovsky Ballet of St. Petersburg, Russia for a special two week engagement November 11 - 23, 2014 at the David H. Koch Theatre (Lincoln Center) NYC. There will be four programs for this premiere engagement performed with a live orchestra. The Mikhailovsky Ballet USA engagement is supported by the Russian Ministry of Culture.

In celebration of the anniversaries of the 1939-40 and 1964-65 New York World's Fairs-both of which took place in Queens-Museum of the Moving Image will present an exhibit of films that were made for the fairs and which reflect post-World War II-era optimism and focus on American industry as central themes.
