The Noel S. Ruiz Theatre's production 'On the Town' would be the perfect production to display what it means to be a musical. Although it teeters on the cliche at times, the production value and the performances make up for the sometimes flawed piece.

L'Ermitage Foundation, will present TRIO MAESTRI consisting of Roberto Cani, Italian Violinist, who serves as the Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra; Ruslan Biryukov, Russian Cellist, who serves as the Founder of the Glendale Philharmonic Orchestra; and Armen Guzelimian, Armenian Pianist, who is a renowned concert and recording artist. In the annals of jazz history, few events have been more influential than the Jazz at the Philharmonic concert series, and the album series of the same name. From 1944 to 1957, pioneering impresario, Verve Records founder, Norman Granz organized a series of prestigious all-star concerts that featured a who's-who of the genre's most popular and influential artists. To commemorate Leonard Bernstein's 100th birthday this year, Northrop presents Keigwin + Company Celebrates Bernstein Featuring The University Symphony Orchestra on Sat, Apr 14, at 7:30 pm. The Bickford Theatre presents the annual birthday bash for Hall of Fame guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli on Monday, January 8th. Bucky, who turns 92 on January 9th, has been at this annual birthday party every year with the exception of his 90th when he was in the hospital. He will bring an all-star ensemble with him including Martin Pizzarelli on bass, Ed Laub on guitar, Russ Kassoff on piano, Linus Wyrsch on sax, and Aaron Weinstein on violin.

1812 Productions is pleased to present a two-night only concert performance of its original holiday musical, The Carols, written by Jennifer Childs and Monica Stephenson. The Carols premiered at 1812 Productions in December 2016 and returns for this special concert performance featuring original cast members Rachel Camp, Caroline Dooner, Emily Kleimo, and T.J. Harris. We are thrilled to welcome to the ensemble Barrymore Award-winners Joilet Harris and Scott Greer.
