Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse has opened  the world premiere of Neith Boyce's THE SEA LADY, a 1935 play bound for Broadway that never reached its opening, in limited run from October 6 - 30, 2022, in person at the Playhouse: 220 E 4th Street. Alex Roe (Thunder Rock, Poor of New York, Virtual Playhouse) directs.

The American Dance Guild Performance Festival Returns To Ailey Citigroup Theater

The American Dance Guild will return to live performance with their yearly ADG PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL, their first live production since the Covid pandemic. Return, Renew, Rejoice! will take place over four evenings, Dec 1 - Dec 4 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55th Street, in New York City. The work of 34 contemporary choreographers will be shown.

On Friday, November 4, Main Street in Webster circa 1916 will come alive at Samuel Slater Experience with Night at the Museum: Silent Movies with Richard Hughes.  Pianist and historian Hughes will share the adventure, drama, romance, and comedy that characterized the silent movies of the early 1900s films in the Liberty Theater, along the recreation of Main Street that is one of the most popular exhibits at the museum.

Allman Brothers Band To Release 'Syria Mosque: Pittsburgh, PA January 17, 1971'

Recorded direct from the band’s soundboard and restored and remastered, this recording captures the arc of the ABB’s sound as they were ramping up to the classic At Fillmore East album recorded just 8 weeks later (March 1971). You can hear Duane Allman, Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks and Jaimoe on this recording.
