Tuta Theatre West has announced their production of Stones in His Pockets, by Marie Jones, featuring two actors, Andrew Friedman and Jerry Richardson, playing 15 roles. Directed by Zeljko Djukic, Stones in His Pockets will play one preview performance on August 18 and is set to open on Friday, August 19 at 8pm. The engagement will run for five weeks only, through Saturday, September 17, 2011.

DanceWorks, Toronto's longest-running contemporary dance series, is proud to present the world premiere of from thine eyes, co-produced by Signal Theatre and Native Earth Performing Arts (NEPA). This dance-theatre work brings together two Aboriginal artists for the first time: Michael Greyeyes, Artistic Director of Signal Theatre (choreographer), and Yvette Nolan (writer), former Artistic Director of Native Earth.

Polarity Ensemble Theatre, in association with Rasaka Theatre Company, presents the world premiere of the late playwright Keith Anwar's drama, Kabulitis, September 20 - October 30, 2011. Winner of the Polarity Ensemble's 2010 Dionysos Cup Festival of New Plays, Kabulitis gives an intimate look into the life of an American woman married to an Afghan and living in Kabul, Afghanistan. The story was inspired by the lives and stories of the playwright's parents and family, giving an insider's perspective into life within the country in which the U.S. has had a military presence for the past decade.

DARE TO SPEAK PRODUCTIONS is pleased to announce the World Premiere production of I PLEAD GUILTY, written and directed by Natalia Pelevine, based on the real events of the Moscow theatre siege of 2002. It is adapted from Pelevine's play In Your Hands, which, after a successful London run, was translated into Russian and banned there by the government officials after just one performance. I PLEAD GUILTY will play a limited engagement at Gene Frankel Theater, (24 Bond Street, New York, NY 10012). Performances conclude on Sunday, May 29.
