Cast Complete for JAG Productions & ArtisTree's CHOIR BOY

The complete cast is set for the upcoming Vermont Premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's CHOIR BOY, a gospel-infused play that will run at Briggs Opera House in White River Junction, VT. The show, directed by Jarvis Antonio Green, begins previews on November 3 and opens on November 5.

Four Nations Ensemble Sets 2017 Series at Merkin Hall

For the second year, the Four Nations Ensemble will make its home at Merkin Concert Hall to present three programs of chamber and vocal music by Bach and his contemporaries, from Handel to Couperin to Vivaldi. The programs, each on Monday evenings, will be held January 30, March 13, and May 8, 2017 at 8:00 PM.

The Public Theater announced complete casting today for the first major New York revival of David Hare's PLENTY. Directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux and featuring the previously announced Rachel Weisz and Corey Stoll, the show will begin previews on Tuesday, October 4 and run through Sunday, November 6, with an official press opening on Thursday, October 20.

The Public's TROILUS AND CRESSIDA Opens Tonight at Shakespeare in the Park

The Public Theater recently announced that Louis Cancelmi, last seen as Caliban in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest, had stepped into the company of Troilus and Cressida as Achilles, replacing David Harbour, who suffered an injury during previews and will be unable to complete the run. The play celebrates its opening tonight, August 9, after a short delay.

The Public Theater announced today that Louis Cancelmi, last seen as Caliban in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest, has joined the company of TROILUS AND CRESSIDA as Achilles. On Friday, February 26, City Players enjoyed a spectacular opening night of the World Premiere drama UTOPIA written by and starring David Douglas and Martin Head, directed by Katherine Whitney. Opening night festivities were attended by Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and members of the Royal Palms Recovery Center who provided rehearsal space for the production.The SOLD OUT audience awarded the production with a well-deserved standing ovation.
