Mosaic Theater Company of DC announces the return of the critically acclaimed VOICES FROM A CHANGING MIDDLE EAST FESTIVAL, an expansive exhibition of some of the finest Israeli, Arab and American artists from across the country and around the world. The Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) today announced programming for the inaugural Tilt Kids Festival. The new cultural festival for families will feature multidisciplinary international work paired with commissions from New York artists, including five premieres. Tilt Kids Festival runs from March 4 through April 3. Tickets will go on sale December 23 at www.tiltkidsfestival.org.

UNSPEAKABLE features a cast of many prominent Chicago performers and will play the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Renowned Chinese choreographer Tao Ye's world of minimalist contemporary dance where sublime forces animate bodies will be brought to the Arts Centre Melbourne stage in a co-presentation with Chunky Move of his TAO Dance Theater works on Thursday 6 August and as part of Supersense - Festival of the Ecstatic from 7-8 August. His unique works, 4 and 5, shimmer with striking graphic composition and are freed of narrative and representational confinement in favour of pure imaginative possibility.

New York Live Arts today announced the recipients of a number of new works residency programs for the 2015-16 season and beyond as part of its newly envisioned new work development program, reflecting a renewed, industry-leading commitment to the support of the creative process. The celebrated New York-based writer, performer and choreographer Okwui Okpokwasili will be the organization's third recipient of the Resident Commissioned Artist (RCA) award, the largest of its kind in the nation. Andrea Kleine, Sonya Tayeh, Adrienne Truscott, Preeti Vasudevan, Larissa Velez-Jackson and Gillian Walsh have been curated to develop new work to premiere in future seasons on the New York Live Arts stage through the Live Feed Program (formerly Studio Series).

Andrew Bovell's play, WHEN THE RAIN STOPS FALLING, opens in Alice Springs, Australia in the year 2039. A fish falls from the sky and lands at the feet of Gabriel York. This is unusual because fish are extinct and this one still smells of the sea. It's been raining for days and Gabriel knows something is wrong. Fifty years earlier his grandfather, Henry Law had predicted that fish will fall from the sky heralding a great flood which will end life on earth as we know it.

Tickets for the West End production of Motown the Musical, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in February 2016, are released for sale today (15 May 2015). With music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, Motown the Musical is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright. London previews will begin on 11 February 2016 with press night on 8 March 2016 with the show booking to 22 October 2016. Casting and further information about Motown the Musical will be released shortly.

Tangent Theatre Company, based in the intimate Carpenter Shop Theater in Tivoli's village center, announces a fifth week of performances for their Spring 2015 production: the contemporary moral drama Lobby Hero by Kenneth Lonergan. The play will now run through Sunday, May 3. Set in a Manhattan apartment building lobby, the story examines the shades of grey between right and wrong, and centers on the main character, Jeff, the building's security guard, and three other diverse characters, including Jeff's supervisor William and two New York City police officers (Bill and Dawn). Remaining performances of Lobby Hero are Thursdays - Saturdays 8pm; Sundays 3pm.

The Public Theater announced additional casting today for the 2015 Free Shakespeare in the Park season, beginning Wednesday, May 27 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. This summer will feature Shakespeare's late romances with THE TEMPEST, directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, and CYMBELINE, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Jesse Tyler Ferguson will return to the Park this summer as Trinculo in THE TEMPEST, along with Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe teaming up again with Daniel Sullivan on CYMBELINE to play Posthumus Leonatus/Cloten and Imogen, respectively.

Tony Award-winning costume designer, JESS GOLDSTEIN (currently represented on Broadway with Jersey Boys and On the Town), and scenic designer DOUGLAS W. SCHMIDT are among the 2015 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, May 1, at 6:30pm, at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Mr. Goldstein was selected to receive the 2015 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design and Mr. Schmidt will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design.
