Music's Biggest Night - the GRAMMYs - is here! Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. 

The 2018-19 Folsom Lake College Speakers Series commences on March 12, 2019 with An Evening with Ron Paul. Dr. Paul ran for President of the United States three times - as the Libertarian Party candidate in 1988 and the Republican Party candidate in 2008 and 2012, at which time he received 190 delegate votes at the Republican Convention. Serving in Congress during the 1970-80s, he served on the House Banking Committee. An unwavering advocate of pro-life and pro-family values, he voluntarily relinquished his House seat in 1984 and returned to his medical practice. He returned to Congress in 1997, serving on the House Financial Services and Foreign Affairs Committees. He is the author of several bestselling books.

Each year, Brian Gore assembles a new cast of guitar luminaries from around the world musicians who embody the diversity and virtuosity of the acoustic guitar. And each year, the Harris Center welcomes IGN onto Stage One it is, by now, a beloved tradition. Guest host Luca Stricagnoli, Italy's explosive contemporary showman, returns by popular demand. Nicolas Talar for Enzo Products Ltd and Adam Blanshay Productions have announced the full casting for Notre Dame de Paris. Twenty years after its Parisian debut, and after receiving international acclaim in 23 countries worldwide, the French musical is set to be performed at London Coliseum. The original French production in London will be performed with English surtitles and a live orchestra from Wednesday 23 Sunday 27 January 2019, with a national press night on Wednesday 23 January 2019 at 7pm. The London run will culminate with the 5,000th performance of the worldwide hit show.

Manoa Valley Theatre continues its momentous 50th anniversary season with the expansion of its Studio Series with the Island Treasure Music and Comedy Series. Adding on to the already popular regular appearances by the Hotclub of Hulaville, the next of which are January 28 and 29, the theatre will present some of Hawaii's favorite entertainers in a six-part subscription series beginning in November with the incomparable Shari Lynn and running through August of 2019.

Jim Messina's legacy spans five decades and three acclaimed rock super groups: Loggins & Messina, Buffalo Springfield, and Poco. And he's had a vibrant solo career, plus a dizzying array of producing and engineering credits for such luminaries as The Doors, Joni Mitchell, and Herb Alpert. Performing with his band in Folsom, the concert will include songs we all know and love, from across his storied career. The Houston Cinema Arts Society is pleased to announce the full lineup of films, guest artists, live performances, and interactive elements that will populate the 2018 Houston Cinema Arts Festival – as it celebrates its milestone 10th anniversary – from November 8 – 12 at Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Rice Cinema, White Oak Music Hall, Cafe? Brasil, and additional partner venues across the City of Houston.

Three Tales by Steve Reich, with visuals by Beryl Korot, will open the Long Beach Opera's 40th Anniversary Season, for two performances Saturday, November 3 at 6pm and Sunday, November 4 at 2:30pm at the Ernest Borgnine Theater, Scottish Rite Event Center, in Long Beach, CA.  The production is sung in English, and is conducted by Andreas Mitisek. Three Tales will serve as the centerpiece to Long Beach Opera's 40th anniversary Gala, which will take place following the performance on November 3rd.

Legendary Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist, associate editor of The Washington Post, and author of FEAR: Trump in the White House Bob Woodward will speak at Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center Sunday, Feb.3, 2019 at 7 p.m.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its 56th season with its fourth Main Stage production, Buried Child. This will mark the first time the Theatre has presented a play by Sam Shepard, who passed away last year. Paul Mullins returns to direct. Veteran company member Sherman Howard leads a cast that features returning company members Anthony Marble and Carol Halstead, as well as Roger Clark, Paul Cooper, Michael Dale, and Andrea Morales, all of whom are making their STNJ debut. Seminal Nashville songwriter John Prine has released a new version of his song “How Lucky,” as part of the new Amazon Original “Produced By” series, only on Amazon Music. The track was produced by the GRAMMY Award-winning, Memphis-based producer Matt Ross-Spang. The “Produced By” series pairs producers with a collection of some of today's top artists across various genres to create exclusive, new recordings for Amazon Music listeners, and to spotlight today's community of producers working behind the scenes to develop the best in music.

Following a sold-out engagement in 2015, Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress Melissa Manchester returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with her new show, The Fellas, on Friday, October 5 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, October 6 (8 p.m.). More than 25 years after Melissa Manchester released "Tribute," her 1989 album that honored the great female singers who influenced her, she turns the tables with "The Fellas," a radiant new encomium to the men, including Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme, Tony Bennett, and Dean Martin, and the iconic songs they made famous. In this intimate evening, Manchester will salute the men (and ladies) of song, as well as perform several of her own classic hits.

Lifeline Theatre's KidSeries presents Bunnicula, a family musical based on the popular children's book by Deborah and James Howe, with adaptation and lyrics by Lifeline Theatre emeritus ensemble member James Sie, music by Doug Wood, and directed by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Anthony Kayer. At a showing of Dracula one dark and stormy night, the Monroe family discovers an abandoned rabbit. When they bring him home, resident know-it-all Chester the cat suspects the worst after spying gleaming fangs in the bunny's mouth. And as vegetables start turning up mysteriously drained of their juices, even easygoing Harold the dog wonders if they have a supernatural menace on their hands. Brave the night and dare to embrace our differences in this musical adaptation of the 1979 book by Deborah and James Howe. This production is recommended for children ages five and up (children under two not permitted), and runs approximately one hour with no intermission.

Star of stage and screen, Jonah Platt has signed on to play Country Songwriter Hall of Famer, Dean Dillon, in the upcoming musical Tennessee Whiskey The Musical: The Story of Dean Dillon, written by Dewey Moss featuring the songs of Mr. Dillon.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) kicks off its 2018-2019 Season with the spine tingling tale of Susan Hill's The Woman in Black.  Hill's gothic ghost story, adapted for the stage by Stephen Mallatratt, will star Bradley Armacost as Arthur Kipps and Adam Wesley Brown as the Actor in the show that Daily Mail called, "A nerve-shredding experience."  Director Robin Herford will recreate his original staging from the London West End.  The American premiere of the West End Production is produced by PW Productions and Pemberley Productions.  Previews begin on September 15th, with press opening on September 21st at the Allen Theatre in Playhouse Square. 

This September features many new titles coming to Amazon Prime. Prime Original series King Lear will become available on Prime Video on September 28th. Other Prime Originals coming to the service in September include series premieres of Six Dreams (Sep 7) and Forever (Sep 14) as well as season 1a of Pete the Cat (Sep 7) and season 2b of Wishenpoof (Sep 7). Additionally, you can catch season two of PBS's hit British series Victoria starting August 25 on Prime Video.

A man who surely knows a thing or two about comedy, Mark Lonow, the co-owner of the legendary Improv chain, will world premiere his latest play (co-written with his wife Jo Anne Astrow) JEWS, CHRISTIANS AND SCREWING STALIN at the Matrix Theatre beginning August 16, 2018. Taking his childhood dramas and traumas, Mark repurposes his familial distress to make you cry, not from its heavy seriousness, but from all the laughing so hard.
