Union Station officials today announced their latest world-class exhibition and invited guests on an epic adventure of prehistoric discovery. " Dinosaurs Revealed: Journey Across America", will make its world premiere in Kansas City on July 3rd in the Station's expansive Bank of America Gallery.

New Dramatists, Tony® Honor recipient and the nation's premier playwright development laboratory, just honored Tony®and Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington at its 69th Annual Spring Luncheon tribute. Washington, currently starring on Broadway in The Iceman Cometh, directed by George C. Wolfe, received New Dramatists' 2018 Distinguished Achievement Award. Tributes to Mr. Washington and performances were presented by three-time Grammy Award-winner Branford Marsalis with bassist Noah Jackson, Tony®Award-winners George C. Wolfe and Stephen McKinley Henderson, Constanza Romero (August Wilson Estate), and Pulitzer Prize finalist and New Dramatists resident playwright Kristoffer Diaz (The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity).

The U.S. Premiere of Toshiki Okada's Time's Journey Through a Room opens this Sunday, May 20, at the Mezzanine Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres. Presented by The Play Company (PlayCo), led by Founding Producer Kate Loewald and Managing Director Robert G. Bradshaw, Time's Journey Through a Room is PlayCo's third collaboration with Okada, translator Aya Ogawa and director Dan Rothenberg. This haunting play, set in Japan after the Fukushima disaster, stars the Japanese-born, New York based performers Yuki Kawahisa (Honoka), Maho Honda (Arisa) and Kensaku Shinohara (Kazuki). The play is both an intimate examination of how we move forward from life-altering events, and a study of how we experience time, asking whether we can ever be alive to the present moment.

Azuka Theatre ends the 2017-2018 season with the world premiere of Mrs. Harrison, by R. Eric Thomas, from May 2 to20, 2018. Mrs.Harrison is the third and final show of the season that celebrated Azuka's commitment to notable Philadelphia playwrights and unique Philadelphia voices. Producing Artistic Director Kevin Glaccum directs this suspenseful dark comedy and drama about two women, one story and their very different memories about their relationship in college. The show runs through May 20, 2018, for a total of 18 performances.  All performances will take place at the Louis Bluver Theatre at The Drake, 302 S. Hicks Street. Meet Dilkes, poet Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918), pilot Kenneth Russell Unger (1898-1979), nurse Amabel Scharff Roberts (1891-1918), 'Hello Girl' Grace Banker (1892-1960) and other Americans who went to Europe when the United States entered World War I in 1918. 'A Year in the Trenches' is based on Dilkes' book 'Remembering World War I: An Engineer's Diary of the War,' and other historical sources. Many of the real-life characters are from New Jersey, including two brothers from Cape May. Live music from the period is performed throughout, and the audience is encouraged to join in on two songs.

Broadway Sacramento announced the 2018 - 19 Broadway On Tour season at the Community Center Theater, sponsored by Wells Fargo, featuring four shows not previously presented in the series and three that are favorites of Broadway Sacramento audiences. The season features Sacramento premieres of On Your Feet!, Waitress, Aladdin, and The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Returning shows are a newly-updated Stomp, which was presented twice before by Broadway On Tour; the new Lincoln Center Theater production of Falsettos, which was presented once before; and the brand new revival of Cats, which has previously been presented twice each by Broadway On Tour and Broadway At Music Circus.

Beginning Tuesday, May 1 at 10 a.m., tickets to individual performances within Richard Wagner's four-opera cycle, Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung), will be available for purchase. Goodman Theatre celebrates the lives of "two strong, vibrant women dispensing joy and wisdom" (Chicago Tribune) in a major revival of Emily Mann's Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years. Directed by the Goodman's longtime Resident Director Chuck Smith, the production features Ella Joyce and Marie Thomas as the Delany centenarians, Bessie (1891 - 1995) and Sadie (1889 -1999), respectively. The sisters were discovered in 1991 when Amy Hill Hearth interviewed them for The New York Times. Following the article, the trio co-authored the book, Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years-a New York Times bestseller and heartfelt reflection of their family history and triumphs over prejudices in times of social unrest. Mann adapted it for the stage, first at McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, New Jersey and then to Broadway, where it ran for 317 performances. Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years appears May 5 - June 10, 2018 in the Albert Theatre (opening night is Monday, May 14). The Collective, Baltimore's hub for dancers and choreographers, will present a collection of works entitled SENSES: A broadly accessible dance performance, featuring seven premier works crafted through the lens of broadening the dance experience and providing multiple ways to enter into experiencing a dance performance. SENSES will run at Theatre Project, 45 West Preston Street, on Saturday, April 21st and Sunday, April 22nd. The concert will feature works by the following choreographers: Natalie Boegel, Molly Jean Kirkup Heer, Samantha Hopkins, Lynne Price, Gianna Rodriguez, Kristen Yeung & guest choreographer Samuel Horning (Dance Exchange).
