Producer Lida Orzeck and Executive Producer Eva Price have announced the cast of the New York premiere of the new play, 20TH CENTURY BLUES, from Susan Smith Blackburn Prize-winner and two-time OBIE Award-winning playwright Susan Miller (MY LEFT BREAST).

State Theatre New Jersey has an exciting schedule of Broadway shows this season on the New Brunswick stage. Kicking off the line-up is the New Jersey Premiere of 'Jersey Boys' from October 13 to October 15. Writer, teacher, therapist, lobbyist and actor Danna Schaeffer will present her one-woman show, You in Midair, from October 5 through 15, at New Expressive Works. You in Midair is directed by Julie Akers. Previously titled My Little Jezebel, this full production follows a January 2017 staged reading with PDX Playwrights in the Fertile Ground Festival New Works.

Director of Nuffield Southampton Theatres, Samuel Hodges, today announces the inaugural production at NST City - the world premiere of Howard Brenton's The Shadow Factory . Hodges' production opens on 15 February, with previews from 7 February, and runs until 3 March.

Hampstead Theatre announces the first two productions for 2018.

Villanova Theatre will kick off the 2017-2018 season with the iconic musical Godspell, directed by Philadelphia favorite Matt Pfeiffer, who took home the Barrymore Award for Best Direction of a Play two years in a row.

Building on the critical success of his 2011 production of Harold Pinter's Old Times, STC Artistic Director Michael Kahn will return to the British playwright's gripping realm of doubt and disquiet to direct a double bill of short plays. The Lover and The Collection will run from September 26-October 29 at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street NW).

The artists selected for this prestigious residency and training program are composers Shuying Li, Andy Tierstein, and Liliya Ugay; librettists Lorene Cary, Julian Crouch, and Lila Palmer; and dramaturg Antigoni Gaitana.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of Tony Award winner Stuart Thompson, who died on August 17th at age 62. The marquees of Broadway theatres in New York will be dimmed in his memory on Tuesday, August 22nd at exactly 6:45pm for one minute.

When David Moscow made his 'Big'-screen debut in 1988, it was huge. Penny Marshall had plucked this precocious, 11-year-old kid from the Bronx to play the younger version of Tom Hanks' character, Josh Baskin. This comic fantasy-fable about a boy who literally became 'Big' overnight, was a giant box-office hit. Moscow was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actor in a Comedy. And in that same season, another kid won for Best Young Actor in a Drama: Christian Bale for 'Empire of the Sun.'
