Know Theatre has announced its 25th-season opening production, Sunrise Coven, by Brendan Bourque-Sheil.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the musical event of the summer: Ragtime The Musical.

Terence Etc, born Terence Nance, is a multidimensional artist perhaps best known for his work in film and TV (more below). He shares “In Contemplation of Clair’s Scent” today as the lead single. The album features contributions from Nick Hakim, Serpentwithfeet, Nelson Bandela plus Brandee Younger (harp), Nick Semrad (keys) and Raja Kassis (guitar).

Following an extensive search and interview process over the last few months, the esteemed nonprofit Theatre Bay Area has selected Oakland resident Sean Fenton as its new Executive Director. Fenton begins his new appointment June 15.

Kirsty Rock is best known around the world as a member of the internationally renowned reggae super group Easy Star All-Stars. The release coincides with an official video release of the title track, which was a collaboration between acrobatic dancer Julia Baccellier, Rock, and Rock’s long standing collaborator D888.

This sweeping and stirring musical masterpiece paints a portrait of America at the dawn of the twentieth century, interweaving the lives of three families—an African American family, a Jewish Immigrant family, and a wealthy white family—finding their places and pursuing the American Dream in a rapidly changing world. Featuring a Tony Award-winning book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Terrence McNally (Master Class, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink) and a Tony Award-winning score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Once on This Island, Anastasia, Seussical The Musical), this musical is based on E. The Museum of Modern Art will present Wolfgang Tillmans: To  look without fear, the artist's first museum survey in New York, from September 12, 2022,  through January 1, 2023, in the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Center for Special  Exhibitions.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the cast and crew of Anna in the Tropics, winner of the 2003 Pulitzer Prize and the second show of the 2022 Mainstage Season, with previews starting June 28.
