GINGER THATCHER will be on the faculty of Ballet Arts, Inc.’s Summer Intensive which will be taking place from June 13-17, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee. Ms. Thatcher will be teaching musical theater, jazz, and modern dance classes for the participants in this year’s Summer Intensive.

This June, the Martha Graham Dance Company’s acclaimed second company will be back on stage for its 39th New York season with an exciting program of new works and Graham classics. The season is dedicated to Yuriko, longtime Graham dancer, teacher, and Graham 2 founder, who passed away on March 8 at the age of 102.

The American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School will appear at NYU Skirball in New York City for two performances, Thursday, May 19 at 7:30 P.M. and Saturday, May 21 at 1:30 P.M.

Park Avenue Armory will continue its Making Space Public Programming Series with Queer Hip Hop Cypher, an exploration of the queer origins and aesthetics of hip hop through discussion, film, and performance on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 3pm.

With performances beginning April 23rd, Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre and Nightclub Cantata LLC, by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, will present  Elizabeth Swados’ 1977 breakout sensation Nightclub Cantata, a provocative, eclectic and heralded theatrical creation rarely seen since its inception decades ago. 

On Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 5:30pm, Shriver Hall Concert Series (SHCS) - Baltimore's premier presenter of chamber music ensembles and solo recitalists - will present the two-time Grammy Award-winning Pacifica Quartet and soprano Karen Slack in the Baltimore premiere of A Double Standard, a new SHCS co-commission by Baltimore-based composer James Lee III.

The League of American Orchestras has transformed its Leadership Team, led by President and CEO Simon Woods, in order to bring new voices to the organization and support a renewed focus on serving its more than 1,800 orchestra, institutional, and individual members.

THE PATH TO CATHERINE – A NEW MUSICAL, by Patricia Zehentmayr and Jan Roper, will be performed by Write Act Rep from March 27th - May 1st, 2022, at the Brickhouse Theatre in North Hollywood.

Baryshnikov Arts Center will present the New York premiere of Minneapolis-based choreographer and dancer Ashwini Ramaswamy’s Let the Crows Come, an experimental Bharatanatyam work, and a “Best of Dance 2021” selection by The Washington Post.
