Jack Ferver's critically acclaimed Everything Is Imaginable returns to New York Live Arts' mainstage as the finale to the 2019 Live Arteryplatform during the annual Association of Performing Arts Professionals conference, January 7, 2019 at 10pm and January 8-12 at 8pm. Presented in collaboration withAmerican Realness, Ferver's radiant and evocative dance-theater piece juxtaposes the lives, virtuosity, and fantasies of its five queer performers.

The Kitchen presents iconic NYC post-punk band Bush Tetras in their last concert of 2018, sharing their first new music in over ten years-perhaps the most hard-hitting collection of songs of their career (December 15). Opening the evening is the Beijing-based, 'transnational blues' duo Gong Gong Gong, playing material from their recent US debut album, Siren. 

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) presents the return of NYC-based Conni's Avant Garde Restaurant, one of CPT's most celebrated holiday entertainments. The production is onstage from November 29 - December 22, 2018, in CPT's historic Gordon Square Theatre. Conni's Avant Garde Restaurant earned accolades in TimeOut NYC and The Village Voice, was a winner of a New York Innovative Theater Award in 2012, and was selected as a "10 Best of the Year" pick by The Plain Dealer in 2011.

The fourth concert of Interpretations series' 30th Season also features bassist Mark Dresser, and multi-reeds virtuoso J.D. Parran in quartet.

Performance and visual artist Bobby Baker has created a profoundly thoughtful, imaginative and joyous exploration of families in wartime, commissioned by 14-18 NOW, the UK's arts programme for the First World War centenary.

MCC THEATER is excited to announce that this year's Miscast gala, an annual showstopper of the theater season, is set for Monday, April 1, 2019 at The Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center (311 West 34th Street). Clare Sillery, BBC Head of Commissioning, Documentaries has announced four new titles, due on air over the coming months, which display the breadth and depth of documentaries across BBC One and BBC Two.

E! announced today that acclaimed actor, writer, producer and director Melissa McCarthy will be the inaugural recipient of “The People's Icon of 2018” award at “The E! People's Choice Awards.” McCarthy will be honored for her work across film and television including “The Heat,” “The Boss,” “Spy,” Ghostbusters,” “Tammy,” “St. Vincent” and “Bridesmaids,” which she was nominated for a SAG and an Academy Award. On the television side, she has amassed a total of eight Emmy nominations, three of which came from her role as Molly Flynn in the critically acclaimed series “Mike and Molly” garnering one win in 2011 for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series,” and her portrayal of Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on “Saturday Night Live” earning her second Emmy win for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series in 2017. Additionally, McCarthy is nominated for Comedy Movie Star of 2018 at this year's ceremony. “The E! Irish Arts Center (IAC), the multidisciplinary center dedicated to bringing people of all backgrounds together through the excellence and dynamism of Irish arts and culture, this year creates a thrilling intersection of musical traditions from Ireland and the Gulf of Mexico for its annual Winter Solstice Celebration (December 14 at Symphony Space). Torben Betts's biting comedy, CAROLINE'S KITCHEN, was staged earlier this year on tour and at Park Theatre, London, under the title Monogamy, starring Janie Dee. Betts and his producers, Original Theatre Company, under the Artistic Direction of Alastair Whatley, have reworked the play and, with a new cast led by Caroline Langrishe, Aden Gillett, James Sutton and Elizabeth Boag (further casting to be announced), will begin a new national tour on 24 January 2019 at Derby Theatre, running through to 13 April 2019 at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester. This will be followed by an off-Broadway season in New York Spring 2019.

The Jewish Museum will present Martha Rosler: Irrespective, a survey exhibition of the work of the influential artist Martha Rosler, from November 2, 2018, through March 3, 2019. Rosler is considered one of the strongest and most resolute artistic voices of her generation; she is also a prolific writer, lecturer, professor, and advocate for social justice. She skillfully employs diverse materials to address pressing matters of her time, including war, gender roles, gentrification, inequality, and labor. From her feminist photomontages of the 1960s and 1970s to her large-scale installations, Rosler's vital work reflects an enduring and passionate vision.

Audiences should approach Stick Fly, with the expectation that they will not understand all of it, fully grasp any character's motives or thoughts and/or playwright Lydia R. Diamond's position on many of the issues she aerates - and that that's okay. The fun is in just watching it happen.

Orchestra of St. Luke's Carnegie Hall 32nd-annual series concerts commences this season on October 25 in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, marking the official start of Bernard Labadie's tenure as Principal Conductor of the Orchestra. Bernard Labadie and OSL have chosen Haydn as the theme for his inaugural season, showcasing the Ensemble's strong affinity for this composer. Curated with an eye to interesting musical juxtapositions, the series will offer a variety of perspectives on Haydn's music and influence.  

For his inaugural season as Principal Conductor of Orchestra of St. Luke's, Bernard Labadie has curated a three-concert residency at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage-marking the 32nd year of the OSL series at Carnegie Hall-with a focus on the music and influence of Joseph Haydn. The first concert today, October 25 at 8:00 p.m., which pairs Haydn's "Nelson Mass" with Mozart's Requiem, K. 626 (revised and completed by Robert Levin), marks OSL's first collaboration with La Chapelle de Quebec, the choir founded and directed by Maestro Labadie. Soloists joining the ensembles on stage include soprano Lauren Snouffer, mezzo-soprano Susan Graham, tenor Lothar Odinius, and bass-baritone Philippe Sly.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and GRAMMY® Award-winning legendary superstar, Jon Bon Jovi will curate two special fan cruise experiences titled Runaway To Paradise, offering fans the vacation of a lifetime.
