Triple J's Gen Fricker Joins GIRLS NIGHT OUT Hosted by GRETEL KILLEEN & featuring WENDY HARMER, NIKKI BRITTON, LIZZY HOO AND MAXI SHIELD, JJJ radio host & acclaimed comedian GEN FRICKER has joined the line-up for this one night only live comedy gala.

Gen Fricker has quickly become one of the nation's brightest stars on the national comedy circuit, with her unique blend of sassy stand up and dark musical experimentation, delivered with a butter-wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth smile. Since making her comedy debut in 2011, as a national finalist in the Triple J Raw Comedy competition, Fricker has sold out seasons of solo shows at the Melbourne, Perth and Sydney Comedy Festivals, Supported US comic Reggie Watts along with appearing at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Fall Festival and Splendour in The Grass to name just a few. She's also been a guest writer/performer on ABC's "The Roast" and "Chatback with Tom Ballard"

GIRLS NIGHT OUT is the perfect show to kick off silly season, grab your friends and laugh the night away and features a knockout line up of comedians, complete with hilarious sing-a-long moments and no holds barred trivia games. Get ready for a night of hair flickin' fun on Saturday 8 December at The Concourse, Chatswood.

Hosted by the imitable Gretel Killeen, taking centre stage are funny ladies Wendy Harmer, Gen Fricker, Nikki Britton, Lizzy Hoo, and drag queen extraordinaire Maxi Shield - who will bring all the sass with her hilarious lip sync performances and naughty trivia games!

There's nothing better than a good belly laugh on a Saturday night. Join some of our favourite funny ladies as they cover topics from romance & dating, social etiquette, in-laws, getting older, teenagers and how to stay sane over Christmas!

Gretel Killeen is an award-winning TV host, comic, journalist, author and social commentator with a broad career including her iconic role as host of Australia's "Big Brother". She's hosted commercial and ABC Radio, written as a columnist for The Australian and Sydney Morning Herald and an author of over 20 books including several best sellers.

Wendy Harmer is one of Australia's best-loved entertainers with a career including stand-up comedy, as a radio host for 2DayFM and currently the ABC. A former political journalist, Wendy is the author of eight books for adults. She's performed around the world at prestigious comedy festivals in Montreal, Edinburgh & London's West End.

Nikki Britton exploded onto the comedy scene in 2011 and since performing at events including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival & Edinburgh Fringe. She's also hosted TV shows for Comedy. Her trademark "Grandma" character has become a fan favourite. Rumour has it Grandma will indeed be making an appearance at Girls Night Out!

Lizzy Who is a rising talent who regularly performs around Sydney and has featured at the RAW Comedy State Finals, Stand Up & Be Counted 2017 and describes herself as "Comedienne, writer, designer, ideas lady, noodle and pie enthusiast, kitchen hand, GenY slashy, equal parts". Her style is described as "authentic" and "honest"!

Maxi Shield She's one, twice, three times a lady! Maxi Shield is Sydney's drag de jour. She has closed the Olympics and opened a gay one. Maxi has performed at numerous Sydney Mardi Gras performances, rubbed cleavage with the stars of Absolutely Fabulous and was pop superstar Madonna's national hostess for her Australian Rebel Heart Tour, joining Madonna on stage.
