The first of these, For All That, was nominated for a Gregory Award as "Most Outstanding New Play of 2015". On June 8, 2017, The New York Pops will return to its summer home, Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY, for a program of music by legendary film composer John Williams. After two successful seasons at the open-air venue, The New York Pops is proud to return to the stadium for an evening featuring the musicians of the orchestra in some of the most popular music ever written for the silver screen. The orchestra's Kids in the Balcony program, which has expanded greatly since its offshoot Kids in the Stadium was introduced in 2015 thanks in part to the generosity of concert presenters Madison House Presents, will offer more than 1,500 Queens children and their families an opportunity to attend and learn about live music for free.
