Beloved nonprofit organization TDF, which has been dedicated to bringing the power of the performing arts to everyone since 1968, has just released a statement regrading the impact of the Broadway Shutdown.

The public is invited to attend the opening reception for Plymouth Arts Center's new exhibition, a?oeWear 'Fore' Arta?? on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. a?oeWear 'Fore' Arta?? is a collection of artistic wearable items designed with inspiration from nature, constructed of natural materials, created by 12 Wisconsin artists. Bring your friends to view, enjoy, and purchase one-of-a-kind wearable art including garments, jackets, scarves, bags and jewelry. The show will be on display in Gallery 110 North through May 1st.  The exhibition is generously sponsored by Conrad and Barbara Barrows and Franz Backus.

Galerie XII Los Angeles (www.galeriexii.com) is celebrating its first anniversary with the solo exhibition of world-renowned, Milan-based photographer Paolo Ventura. The exhibition of Ventura's magical photographic works, 'An Invented World' spans six series over the last decade and will provide the most comprehensive overview of the celebrated Italian artist's oeuvre on the West Coast to date, including the debut of new works.The exhibition runs from January 18 to March 14, 2020 with a public opening reception with the artist on Saturday, January 18 from 4 - 7 pm. Craft Recordings is thrilled to announce the release of a vinyl box set celebrating one of music's greatest gospel and soul groups, The Staple Singers. Set for a December 6th release date, Come Go With Me: The Stax Collection presents all of the group's studio albums released on the iconic Memphis label, spanning 1968–1974, and features the Staples' biggest hits, including “I'll Take You There,” “Respect Yourself” and “If You're Ready (Come Go with Me).” The six studio albums were cut from the original analog masters by Jeff Powell at Take Out Vinyl. The final, seventh disc offers rarities, non-album singles and several live recordings from the legendary 1972 Wattstax music festival. The seven discs come in heavyweight 180-gram vinyl pressed at Memphis Record Pressing. Housed in a slipcase, the collection also includes a deluxe booklet with archival photos and new liner notes from American music specialist and curator Levon Williams (formerly of the Stax Museum and the National Museum of African American Music), and folklorist, ethnomusicologist and writer Dr. Langston Wilkins. The complete collection will also be released digitally, and the six studio albums will be available in hi-res 24-bit/192 kHz and 24-bit/96 kHz formats for the first time.
