As summer starts to wind down and make way for fall, The Flat Rock Playhouse 2018 Season will transition from a bright, blockbuster summer to a mysterious, intriguing fall with The Glass Menagerie. This American Classic will unfold on the Playhouse stage from September 26th to October 13th. Combining the strong Flat Rock creative team and the powerful language crafted by playwright, Tennessee Williams, The Glass Menagerie promises to be a beautiful and fascinating production.

According to Baz Bamigboye of the Daily Mail, Jenna Coleman, and Colin Morgan will join Academy Award-winner Sally Field and actor Bill Pullman on stage in Arthur Miller's modern classic All My Sons, in Headlong Theatre's production at the Old Vic Theatre.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre, presents Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, the Tony Award-winning play that first brought Stoppard to the attention of an international audience - a position he has held in the half century since its premiere in 1967. ANW Producing Artistic Director Geoff Elliott directs. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead performs from October 7 to November 18 (Press Opening October 13).

California Shakespeare Theater announced today the cast of the return engagement of its record-breaking hit play black odyssey, playing September 25 through October 7, 2018 at the Bruns Amphitheater.

Irish master storyteller Brian Friel casts a nostalgic and transportive tale of five unmarried sisters and a household framed by their strength and persistence in the cherished classic Dancing at Lughnasa, directed by Amber Paige McGinnis, at Baltimore's Everyman Theatre, September 4 through October 7, 2018.

Created in 2004 by the avant-garde theatre director Vladyslav Troitskyi, DakhaBrakha - three women and a man - weave ancient Ukrainian folk melodies with world rhythms and a range of traditional instrumentation that is Indian, Arabic, African, Russian and Australian in origin. California Shakespeare Theater (Cal Shakes) announced further details today for the Shakespearean centerpiece to the 2018 Epic Season, The War of the Roses. The War of the Roses is a monumental evening of theater spanning four history plays-the Henry VI trilogy and Richard III. Presented as an action-packed evening, The War of the Roses will deliver a fast-paced, far-ranging, vividly theatrical depiction of two powerful families-the Lancasters and the Yorks-and their decades-long fight for the English throne. Political unrest and power grabs collide with weak leadership and civil strife as the country fights against the threat of tyranny.

The Donmar Warehouse today announces the appointment of Anna Cooper CDG as the new Casting Director from September 2018. Anna will work with newly appointed Artistic Director Michael Longhurst on casting productions in his first season in 2019.

Sally Field and Bill Pullman will star as Kate and Joe Keller in Arthur Miller's All My Sons, directed by Jeremy Herrin, in a co-production with Headlong Theatre at The Old Vic in Spring 2019. Further casting and dates are to be announced.

Artists Repertory Theatre kicks off its 2018/19 season with Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau, directed by William (Bill) Earl Ray. Skeleton Crew is the third play in Morisseau's The Detroit Project (A 3-Play Cycle) following Detroit '67 and Paradise Blue. For Skeleton Crew, Morisseau received a 2016 Obie Award and the play was selected for the 2014 Kilroy List. Skeleton Crew runs from September 2 through September 30 on the Morrison Stage.
